PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish both the suppression of the loss of a delivery pressure and an increase in cooling effect of an electronic circuit by properly maintaining a leakage from a high-pressure area on the delivery side to a low-pressure area on the upstream side of a ventilation passage. SOLUTION: This centrifugal fan comprises, at the center of the side wall of a spiral casing, a cylindrical partition wall in which a control circuit storage part adjacent to a motor forms a part of the ventilation passage. The height of the cylindrical partition wall is higher in the high-pressure area on the delivery side and lower in the low-pressure area on the upstream side of the ventilation passage which communicates with the high-pressure area.
