PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding string which is rolled on a rolling core, such as a bobbin, in a non-blocking state and is fed out from one end of the string when the need of binding arises and is cut into a necessary length to be wound several times around an article to be bound, such as an electric cord or bag, where the wound string does not loose when a grip on string's wind end is released as the string fastens itself adhesively like an adhesive tape, thus binds the article. SOLUTION: The binding string has a flexible core material which is coated or impregnated with an adhesive. The core material is further spottedly coated with a mold releasing agent so that the adhesive does not cause blocking when the string is wound and the string glues itself removably with the adhesive when wound around for binding.
