PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunshade and rain shield device for a vehicle which is compactly housed in a cabin so as to prevent the rain water from dropping from the wet device, and can avoid damaging of the appearance of the vehicle and heightening the vehicle height caused by being installed at the outside of the vehicle . SOLUTION: An eaves assembly body 20 of the sunshade and rain shield device 10 for the vehicle has eaves 21 showing a band shape in an extended state, and a housing frame 22 holding the eaves 21 in a compact housed state. The eaves assembly body 20 is pivoted at the vehicle side in the vicinity of the upper corner part of the entrance 3 for getting on/off at one end, and the eaves 21 can take a first posture and the position capable of being pulled out to the side of the vehicle 1. The eaves 21 can be moved to a second posture and the position capable of being pulled out in the direction along the side part of the vehicle 1 by turning the eaves assembly body 20 around the one end.
