PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing apparatus, which responds to environmental conditions, under which the stencil printing apparatus is placed, so as to obtain a clear image even on the first sheet of printing paper. SOLUTION: This stencil printing apparatus is equipped with detecting means 40, 41 and 45, which detect environmental conditions such as the temperature in the vicinity of the equipment 1 and its non-usage period and outputs as their results, deciding means 40 and 42a-42c, which decide a number of pre-prints in response to the result of output outputted from the detecting means and printing starting means 40 and 43 for starting printing.
