<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelet converter capable of realizing a 9×7 configuration and a 5×3 configuration by a single circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelet converter includes a unit having a first adder for adding a first input signal and a second input signal that are added in a prescribed order, a first multiplier for multiplying the output of the first adder by a coefficient, a second adder for adding a constant to the output of the first adder, a first switch for switching the output of the first adder and that of the second adder, a second multiplier for multiplying a coefficient by receiving the output of the first switch, a second switch for switching the output of the first multiplier and that of the second multiplier, and a third adder for adding a third input signal in a prescribed order to the output of the second switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
