PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with the installation of a payment terminal device at a location where the user is to use it wherein a worker in charge of installing it must go to the location and do jobs on site, such as setting it up, registering a terminal ID number, setting a line to be used, and registering contract information. SOLUTION: To install the payment terminal device 6 in a store or the like, the procedure of applying for affiliation with a card company is carried out. Data written on an application form 1 include the mail address of a mobile communication terminal 5 that a person in charge of the affiliated store owns. The data written on the application form are transferred from the card company's host 3 to a manufacturer's host 4 and initial connection information is transferred to the payment terminal device 6 via the mobile communication terminal 5.
