PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent warning from being frequently given to a driver as being considered to be in danger in spite of small risk. SOLUTION: According as a traveling object is approaching its own vehicle, the risk determination range of the traveling object is enlarged. That is, according as the traveling object is approaching its own vehicle, the traveling object is largely photographed, so that the risk determination range can be enlarged accordingly. Thus, it is possible to prevent the traveling object from being out of the risk determination range when the traveling object is largely photographed according as the traveling object is approaching its own vehicle. It is therefore possible to determinate that there is risk only when the traveling object is actually approaching its own vehicle beyond the risk determination range. Thus, it is possible to provide the traveling object risk determination device for preventing warning from being frequently given or being erroneously reported to the driver as being considered to be in danger in spite of small risk.
