PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odorous steam generator for a food sample display apparatus constituted so that not only concrete food samples are simply arrayed and displayed, but also steam is generated and odor is also generated in relation with the food samples. SOLUTION: The odorous steam generator comprises a water supply means 2 including a water tank 3 for storing water and a water feeding route 4 for sending water from the water tank 3 in each fixed quantity, a perfume solution supply means 5 including a perfume storing pot 6 for storing a perfume solution and a perfume solution sending route 7 for sending the perfume solution from the perfume solution storing pot in each fixed quantity, a water-perfume solution mixing means 8 for mixing water supplied from the water supply means 2 and the perfume solution supplied from the perfume solution supply means 5 and storing the mixed solution, a heater means 9 for heating and evaporating the mixed solution in the water-perfume solution mixing means, and a mixed steam guiding means 10 for guiding mixed steam evaporated by the heater means 9 to an exhibit installation part arranged on the upper part.
