PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe capable of effectively cooling a heat source without increasing size of a container shape and using a plurality of heat pipes. SOLUTION: An oxide film 8 having thickness exceeding 30 nm is formed on a face in contact with demineralized water W inside a container 2. Consequently, wettability of the oxide film 8 and demineralized water W is markedly improved, and satisfactory wettability is always maintained. Spread of the demineralized water W in a heating part 13 and a cooling part 14 is improved to provide the heat pipe 1 having excellent heat transfer performance.
