PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid compound utilizable as a nano material or a nano device. SOLUTION: The nucleic acid structure has two basic structures 51, 52 having the first free-terminal base sequences 31, 33, complementary base sequences 21, 22 having sequence lengths longer than those of the first free-terminal base sequences 31, 33, and bonded to the first free-terminal base sequences 31, 33, fixed base sequences 41, 42 having the sequence lengths equal to those of the complementary base sequences 21, 22 and bonded to the complementary base sequences 21, 22, and the second free-terminal base sequences 32, 34 bonded to the fixed base sequences 41, 42 respectively, and is obtained by bonding complementary base sequences 21 and 22 of the two basic structures 51, 52 to each other by hydrogen bonding.
