The machine has a clamping device with hold-down tool moving relative to a bending table (3) with work piece (1), and a bending cheek (5) for bending punch (18). A driven lockable roller (6) above the table carries a number of rings (7) with radial to tangential cuts or recesses (8). Bearers (9) within the area of the recesses each carry a hold-down strip (2) of different sizes. This permits parts of different widths to be processed by simple turning of the roller.
