<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recording transfer speed while keeping recording characteristic by simple control without regard to the change of a linear velocity. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of writing or deleting data to or from an optical disk 100, light power set in consideration of the recording characteristic of the optical disk 100 is not modified but a correction is made with respect to the time axis of a writing pulse by using a recording strategy according to the change of the linear. Thus, the recording transfer speed is improved while keeping constantly equal recording characteristics irrespective of the change of the linear velocity by the simple control of only making correction with respect to the time axis of the writing pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
