<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material which prevents ink-absorbency and bronzing from occurring when printing is performed with an aqueous dye ink, has less occurrence of bleeding under a high humidity environment, has a high gloss and is excellent in applicability of an acceptance layer regarding the inkjet recording material. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording material has the ink acceptance layer containing a vapor phase method silica and hydrated alumina as inorganic particles, and a polyvinyl alcohol as a binder on a water-resistant supporting body. In the inkjet recording material, the average particle size of a secondary particle of the hydrated alumina of the ink acceptance layer is 120 to 170 nm. Also, the specific surface by the BET method is 95 to 120 m<SP>2</SP>/g. When the ratio of the vapor phase method silica to the total amount 1 of the inorganic particle is represented by P, P is within a range from 0.5 to 0.9. The inkjet recording material is formed by applying a coating liquid containing the polyvinyl alcohol in a range of (15×P+3)to(17×P+5) mass% to the inorganic particle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
