NITROGEN MOLECULE ACTIVATING MATERIAL HAVING NANOSTRUCTURE ON SURFACE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen molecule activating material having the function of putting nitrogen molecules in a state easy to react with other atoms or molecules, and also to enable nitrogen containing compounds to be manufactured from nitrogen molecules at low temperature, in low pressure and with low energy.

SOLUTION: The nitrogen molecule activating material has a nanostructure made up of nano sized protrusions/recesses which are produced by letting ions of inert gases etc. collide against the surface of a solid consisting of transitional metal elements etc. and has the function of activating nitrogen molecules.
