PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical power monitoring apparatus capable of suppressing a problem of crosstalk and easily manufactured. SOLUTION: Light guided through an optical fiber 111<SB>n</SB>and outputted from an optical emission end face 115 transmits through a light transmission member 17 filled in a groove 141, and is made incident onto a light receiving section 131<SB>n</SB>. Part of the light made incident onto the light receiving section 131<SB>n</SB>is absorbed by the light receiver 131<SB>n</SB>and an electric signal with a value equivalent to the power of the absorbed light is outputted from the light receiver 131<SB>n</SB>. The light transmitted through the light receiver 131<SB>n</SB>without being absorbed therein is made incident onto the optical incident end face 125 of an optical fiber 121<SB>n</SB>, and given to the inside of the optical fiber 121<SB>n</SB>from the optical incident end face 125 and guided through the optical fiber 121<SB>n</SB>.
