PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically distinguish an indoor machine to be controlled on demand without changing a control program of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: Since a controller 3 and each indoor machine 2 in groups I and II are mutually connected through relay devices 7, respectively, it is possible to grasp address of the indoor machine 2 belonging to the groups I and II of itself when relaying an operation condition signal transmitted from the indoor machine 2 to the controller 3. Consequently, an address table storing the corresponding relation of the indoor machines and the groups is prepared, a control program for transferring it is unnecessary, and worker's work for confirming address is also unnecessary.
