摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle condition detection device correctly detecting the unstable state of vehicle behavior or symptom thereof even if clip force of a tire is reduced. SOLUTION: The vehicle condition is detected by using alignment torque Ta and a lateral slip angleβreceived from a road surface. In the characteristic of torque/slip angle, although the alignment torque is proportional to the lateral slip angle when the lateral slip angle is small, the alignment torque is reduced when the lateral slip angle becomes large. By using this characteristic, a norm value is determined from a linear slope at an area where the lateral slip angle is small and the lateral slip angle and it is determined that it is in the behavior unstable state when deviation from an actual measurement value becomes large. Further, it is determined that it is in the unstable state when the slope of the alignment torque relative to the lateral slip angle is largely different from the slope of approximation straight line.
