PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene film for a label, which is excellent in adhesion to a metallized layer and is excellent in glossiness and processability, and the label made of the same. SOLUTION: The polypropylene film for the label has oxygen atoms bound to carbon atoms at the film surface, wherein ratios (O/C) of oxygen atoms to carbon atoms are 0.2-0.4 and 0.2-0.3 at surface A and surface B, respectively, Ra(A) is 0.012-0.03μm, Ra(B) is 0.02-0.05μm and Rt(B)/Ra(B) is 10-30.
