PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless transmitter for operating a back-up battery when an outer power source is shielded due to power interruption and reporting it with a wireless signal concerning the wireless transmitter to be driven by the outer power source. SOLUTION: The wireless transmitter is attached onto a ceiling surface or a wall surface and incorporates a wireless transmitting circuit, including: an outer power source input terminal; a back-up charging circuit having the back-up battery; a power source detecting circuit for detecting the reception of the supply of the outer power source; the wireless transmitting circuit; and an inner control circuit. When the power source detecting circuit detects the outer power source, the outer power source is supplied to the back-up battery and stored. When the outer power source is not detected, the power source is supplied from the back-up battery to the wireless transmitting circuit and the inner control circuit, so as to transmit a power source shielding abnormality from the wireless transmitting circuit as a wireless signal.
