PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of reporting callings from a slave unit to a mobile terminal, on the basis of a program of a communication procedure selected, corresponding to each PBX connected to a nurse call control unit, by storing the programs of the communication procedures different among models of a plurality of the PBXes to the memory of the nurse call control unit. SOLUTION: The programs of the communication procedures, different among the models of a plurality of the PBXes 60a and 60b, are stored to the memory 73 of the nurse call control unit 70, and by selecting any one of the programs corresponding to a PBX connected to an ISDN basic interface (hardware basic interface) 72, the ISDN basic interface is controlled, on the basis of the selected program of the communication procedure, and callings from slave units 1a to 4a, 1b to 4b, ... are reported to mobile terminals 40a, 40b, ... via the PBX by using the ISDN basic interface to conduct communication.
