SEQUENTIAL HIGH SPEED CAPTION CREATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequential high speed caption creation system capable of creating caption data including highly accurate timing information even when a sound of a program includes a sound other than a human voice or an original text includes a character string other than that corresponding to the human voice. SOLUTION: A time code acquisition unit 15 allows a display unit 53 to display a processing unit caption text from a processing unit caption processing unit 33. The display section 53 displays a processing unit caption text being an object of a time code cross-reference in a particular form. A speaker 57 transduces a voice signal reproduced by a reproducing unit 23 into a voice. When a voice corresponding to the processing unit caption text displayed in the particular form is reproduced, a user depresses a first particular key of an entry section 51. Thus, a control section 55 acquires a time code from the reproducing unit 23 to cross-reference the time code with the processing unit caption text displayed in the particular form.
