PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone terminal power off assisting system for lowering the probability that a portable telephone terminal exists, with power being turned on, in an area where use of portable telephone terminal is regulated. SOLUTION: A terminal access unit 4 in an area receives identification information of a portable telephone terminal 1 and delivers the identification information thus received to a portable telephone terminal management system 3. The portable telephone terminal management system 3 transmits the user name and the telephone number of the portable telephone terminal 1 associated with that identification information to the terminal access unit 4 in an area. The terminal access unit 4 in an area delivers the user name of the portable telephone terminal 1 thus received to a seat information management system 2. The seat information management system 2 transmits seat identification information associated with the user name thus received to the terminal access unit 4 in an area. The terminal access unit 4 in an area displays the fact that the user of a seat specified by the seat identification information thus received owns a portable telephone terminal, with power being turned on, on a display 5.
