PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a lining member of a passenger car enhancing freedom of design and a lining member itself and to enhance freedom of design of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The metal structure 9 for vertically permeating a fluid is joined to a barrier layer 8 on a fluid-permeating flat surface and it is restricted by the barrier layer 8 that the fluid is permeated to the other layer through the metal structure 9. As the metal structure, for example, a wire and a liquid span dead metal are usable and can be visually recognized from the outside through a transparent varnish layer and it has aesthetic charm.
