PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam cooking device capable of performing cooking being impossible by a conventional device by mixing cooking by steam and cooking by hot air properly. SOLUTION: A steam generator 50 is arranged on the halfway of an external circulation path 30 provided outside a heating chamber 20 to supply steam into the heating chamber 20 through the external circulation path 30. A steam generation heater 52 arranged in the steam generator 50 is composed of a main heater 52a generating large quantity of heat and a subheater 52b generating small quantity of heat. A gas temperature raising heater 52 is arranged in a subcavity 40 provided in a section where the external circulation path 30 circulates air stream into the heating chamber 20. The gas temperature raising heater 52 is also composed of a main heater 41a generating large quantity of heat and a subheater 41b generating small quantity of heat. A controller 80 changes use mode of the main heater and the subheater of the steam generation heater 52 and the main heater and the subheater of the gas temperature raising heater 41 in accordance with selected cooking menu.
