DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable displaying a picture only by inputting picture data without inputting register setting data from the outside of a driving circuit when inputting power source again to a driving circuit for a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The driving circuit for the liquid crystal display device is provided with: a plurality of pixels arranged in the state of a matrix; a plurality of switching elements for driving each pixel; a plurality of signal lines connected to the switching elements; a scanning line for supplying a scanning signal; a signal line driving circuit 1 for driving a signal line; a scanning line driving circuit 3 for driving a signal line; a power source IC2 which can be connected with an external power source; and a source driver IC1 which has a nonvolatile memory 4c capable of holding a first storage content even when power is not supplied to the power source IC2 and a first register circuit li where a stored content is disappeared when power is not supplied to the power source IC2 and where the first storage content held in the memory 4c is set to the register circuit li when starting power supply to the power source IC2 again.
