PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable multilayer analysis element having a small difference between lots and a small difference inside a lot, and having high measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: This multilayer analysis element for liquid sample analysis is formed by laminating integrally at least one functional layer and a porous liquid sample developing layer comprising at least one non-fibrous porous film in this order on one surface of a water-impermeable flat support. In the element, the arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of the contact surface of at least one functional layer in contact with the porous liquid sample developing layer comprising the non-fibrous porous film is 1μm or less and/or the ten-point average roughness (Rz) is 8μm or less.
