PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway rolling stock body structure having an outside plate panel formed of a column superior in accuracy. SOLUTION: This railway rolling stock body structure 1 has a spandrel panel 16 as the outside plate panel. The spandrel panel 16 has an outside plate 17 arranged outside a rolling stock body 2, the column 19 joined to the outside plate 17, and a corrugated plate 18 connected by this column 19 and joined to the outside plate 17. The column 19 has a long size column body part 27 formed in a cross-sectional rectangular shape by combining first to fourth cut plate materials 23 to 26, and flange parts 28 and 29 formed in the longitudinal direction along an edge part of its column body part 27. Here, the first and second plate materials 23 and 24 of the column 19 are formed so as to have a curved part C curvedly cut in the longitudinal direction by extending in the longitudinal direction orthogonally to a plane part 17a of the outside plate 17.
