PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle height adjusting device for a bicycle capable of adjusting a saddle height position safely and smoothly even in traveling, and to provide a bicycle provided with this device. SOLUTION: This device for adjusting the saddle height position in the bicycle comprises direction means for directing lifting/lowering of the saddle, and a lifting/lowering means for lifting/lowering the saddle on receipt of the direction.
