PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user's health is damaged because he/she inhales scattering chalk powder or the chalk powder adheres to his/her body, when he/she makes the action of partially erasing a picture or a character, drawn or written on a blackboard with a piece of chalk, with his/her fingers or by means of a blackboard eraser, in the case of a conventionally used blackboard eraser. SOLUTION: In this blackboard eraser for overcoming a conventional defect, by taking advantage of the conventional ease of use, its shape is made wholly rectangular; a gripping part 2 is heaped up in the center of a top surface of a base 1; and the blackboard eraser is formed in such a shape as to be vertically and horizontally symmetric with respect to the gripping part 2. A wiping part 3, which is formed in a smooth arc shape from the center, has the function of also facilitating partial erasing, and powder duct of the chalk is accumulated in a stepped part and prevented from scattering, according to an electrostatic action of a special resin and an explanation made in claim 2.
