PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disperse a particle distribution very sharply in a wet type medium dispersion machine, and to disperse a treating material with high hardness efficiently. SOLUTION: A rotary body 4 is provided inside a treatment tank 2 to form an annular dispersion zone 6. A guide member 10 is provided on the surface of the rotary body 4. The guide member 10 is formed in a nearly parallelogram in cross section, having an impingement face applying impact toward the rotation direction of the rotary body to a treating medium, a retreating guide inner face for retreating the treating medium to a material feeding port side of the treatment tank, and an outer surface spreading toward an outer periphery direction of the rotary body. A height from the surface 15 of the rotary body 4 to the outer face 14 of the guide member 10 is formed to be about 30-5mm, preferably 20-5mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
