<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage transformer which simultaneously realize compact design and prevention of breakdown of coil which is entangled with a terminal for substrate connection. <P>SOLUTION: An entangling portion 54 is constituted to be extended to the upper part after extending to the right side from the right side surface of the basic part 52 of terminal is then extended further to the diagonal upper side, and is formed to the terminal 50 for substrate connection. Breakdown of a secondary side coil due to the heat is prevented by entangling one end in the high voltage side of the secondary coil with the entangling portion 54 because the heat generated by the soldering process of the terminal 50 to the substrate is not easily conducted to the secondary side coil.
