摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converting material exhibiting a long charge separation life and having excellent collection efficiency of visible light, photoelectric conversion characteristics and chemical and electrochemical stability.

SOLUTION: A fullerene derivative is represented by general formula (I) FL-J-Vn-Q (I) [wherein, FL denotes fullerenes; J denotes a linking group and may be bound to a plurality of carbon atoms of the fullerenes; V denotes an aromatic group which may have a substituent; Q denotes an electron donative group; Vnand Q are bound in a state of a linked conjugation system; n denotes an integer of 2-4; and Vnincludes a bivalent heterocyclic group represented by general formula (II) (wherein, ring A and ring Z denote each a ring condensed by sharing two carbon atoms and may each have a substituent)].
