<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which texture fog is not generated on an image-formed sheet even if filming is left on the surface of a photosensitive drum. <P>SOLUTION: After driving of a charger 2 and a transfer unit 5 is stopped to move into a cleaning mode for polishing a surface of a photosensitive drum 1, a setting value of a developing bias voltage to be applied to a developing sleeve 4a of a developer 4 is changed into a value lower than an initial value, and a subsequent image forming operation is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
