PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device by which images are obtained while considering a color rendering property of a light source and human color sensing characteristics. SOLUTION: The image pickup device comprises an image pickup element, a white balance processing means which performs a white balance processing to an output signal of the image pickup element, and a color conversion processing means 31 to 33 which performs a color conversion processing to an output signal of the white balance processing means by using a conversion function whose parameter is an EV value.
