PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus, wherein suppression of pulling/slack of wires accompanying turning of a turning section with a camera section arranged thereto is realized by a mechanism of space-saving and occurrence of abnormal sound noise, broken wires and faults due to a caught wire or the like can be prevented. SOLUTION: The camera apparatus 1 includes body casings 2a, 2b each having an opening 3; the turning section 15 turnably arranged to the opening 3; a tilt shaft 17 located to a turning center of the turning section 15; the camera section 6 located to the turning section 15, a board section 11 located inside of the body casings 2a, 2b; and the wires 13 connected to a connector 19 of the camera section 6 located to the turning section 15 and to a connector 12 arranged to the board section 11, and the tilt shaft 17 is configured to include a freely-fit part 20 onto which a midway part of the wires 13 is freely fit.
