PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precoated metal sheet which accelerates the surface densification of a fluoroplastic even by short time baking treatment and shows good heat-resistant non-tackiness. SOLUTION: Primer coating, which is based on a heat-resistant resin selected from a polyether sulfone resin, a polyphenyl sulfide resin and a polyamideimide resin and having a hydroxyl groups added to both terminals of its molecular chain, is applied to a metal sheet to form a primer coating film. Subsequently, top coating, which is compounded with at least one fluoroplastic selected from a polymer and a copolymer comprising at least one of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoroethylene, perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether and chlorotrifluoroethylene, is dried/baked on the primer coating film to form a top coating film having a densified fluoroplastic on its surface.
