PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver management method and system and device and a program for installing a driver on terminal equipment without asking any help to a user in proper timing after the setting of an output device is changed. SOLUTION: At the time of detecting that the setting of an output device 2 is changed, a change completion notifying part 22 transmits setting change notification to a notification receiving part 11. Then, at the time of receiving the setting change notification, the notification receiving part 11 starts an installer 12, and the installer 12 installs the driver corresponding to the output device 2 on terminal equipment 1.
