PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for replacing gas in container which efficiently remove oxygen in a storing container, and at the same time, controls the amount of dry ice to be filled when the storing container is sealed so that the internal pressure of the storing container after sealing may not affect the storing container and the quality of a content. SOLUTION: This method for replacing the gas in the container comprises a dry ice filling process A, a content filling process B, a purging process C and a sealing process D. The amount of the dry ice 2 filled in the dry ice filling process A is an amount for ensuring a specified pressure by which the amount of carbon dioxide exhausted from a content 1 and the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed in the content 1 keep a balanced state in the storing container 3 after the sealing process D.
