PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container capable of increasing the size of a lid and the storage volume of food as much as possible, and rapidly and reliably closing the lid. SOLUTION: The packaging container comprises a container body, a circumferential frame provided on the outer side of the container body, and a lid, and the container body and the circumferential frame are fixed to each other by inserting a lock on the tip of the container body in a frame groove formed on the inner side of the circumferential frame. A mouth edge riser is provided on the mouth ridge of the container body, and a suspension is provided at the outer circumference of the lid.
