PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of ensuring smooth operation while being made compact. SOLUTION: Since nuts 45 are provided on end caps 45b, 45b mounted with a passage for connecting rolling passages (23b, 45f) and a circulation passage 45c, i.e., a return passage 45d to both ends of a body 45a, a receiving part for receiving power transmitted from an electric motor 35, i.e., a driven gear part 45e can be provided on an outer peripheral surface center at the outer side in a radial direction of the rolling passage. Accordingly, when the power is transmitted to the driven gear part 45e from the electric motor 35, twisting of the nut 45 is suppressed to enable smooth operation. Further, length in an axial direction of the nut 45 can be also suppressed by providing the driven gear part 45e receiving the power transmitted from the electric motor 35 on the outer peripheral surface at the outer side in a radial direction of the rolling passage.
