PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire and a rim assembly for a two-wheeled vehicle and a buffer used for it capable of improving durability that has a soft feeling and excellent ride comfort in usual traveling and eliminates the biting of a tube even when large deformation is caused in off-road traveling. SOLUTION: The assembly 1 of the tire and the rim for the two-wheeled vehicle is equipped with the buffer 6. The buffer 6 is formed with a recessed part 7 which opens at the rim side and stores the tube 4, and has a radially outward part of the inflated tube filled with normal internal pressure in a cross section including a tire axis, and a pair of sides 6B at a center 6A and a bead side from the center 6A to a seated part sitting on the rim by the tube in a standard state filled the internal pressure in the tube. The center uses a foam body having closed cell of 400 to 1500% of an expansion ratio and the side is made of a foam body having an expansion ratio of not larger than one third compared to a non-foam body or the center.
