PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for simply connecting a brooch and a necklace. SOLUTION: The connecting device 3 is provided with a connecting device body 4 and an engaging part 5 provided at one end of the body 4. The body 4 has a part to be fitted 6 which is fitted to the pin member 101 of the brooch 1 without moving in the longitudinal direction of the pin member 101 or in a state where moving is restricted. The The body 4 and the part to be fitted 6 consist of one coil spring 8. The brooch 1 is connected with the necklace 2 by making the coil spring 8 abut on the rear surface 1a of the broach 1, putting the pin member 101 between the wire rods of the coil spring 8 with pressure and engaging the engaging part 5 with the fastener body of the fastener 201 of the necklace 2.
