<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health measuring apparatus which is easily used by a user with less oppressive feelings and pains even when it is worn for a long period of time and with less measurement errors. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic thermometer 1 is provided with a measuring apparatus body 12 composed of a contact type sensor 12a for detecting the biological signals of a body temperature, cardiac sound, pulse waves and brain waves, etc., by being brought into contact with a part to be measured of the skin, a board 70 where electronic components for controlling the sensor 12a are loaded, a battery 72 and upper and lower cases 12b and 12c for housing them, and the tip of the sensor 12a is exposed to the lower surface of the lower case 12c. The sensor 12a is held so as to be in contact with the skin by a sensor holding part 3 and projecting to the lower part of the lower case 12c. The sensor holding part 3 is mounted on a spring 6 whose outer periphery is fixed by a spring holding part 5 and floated and supported through the spring 6.
