<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent impurities from being mixed in a fuel cell with a comparatively simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system structured so as to supply a prescribed gas to the fuel cell 1 through a pipe 3, a blocking branch pipe 7 having a blocked terminal is provided in the midway part of the pipe 3. The system is structured so as to capture the impurities Z contained in the gas by the blocking branch pipe 7 by gravity and the flow force of the gas. In main part 5 of the pipe, the pipe 3 is bent in an almost U-shape and is connected to the fuel cell 1. The blocking branch pipe 7 is provided by extending it downward from the bent part 8 of the almost U-shaped pipe 3.
