CATALYST FOR FUEL CELL, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME, ELECTRODE FOR FUEL CELL, AND FUEL CELL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cheap catalyst for a fuel cell exerting excellent catalytic action, capable of replacing noble metal catalyst like platinum, and electrode for the fuel cell and the fuel cell using the same.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for the fuel cell, made of carbonaceous base body covered by tungsten nitride, is manufactured by mixing and sintering the carbonaceous base body, tungsten nitride, and material chosen from a source of tungsten nitride. The electrode for the fuel cell containing the above catalyst, and the fuel cell using the above electrode are provided.
