<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a non-aqueous liquid electrolyte secondary cell having a high energy density and exerting an excellent cyclic property in a variety environments at use including a low-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: A non-aqueous liquid electrolyte secondary cell includes a negative electrode composed of either metal lithium or hardly graphitizable carbon material, a positive electrode, and a non-aqueous liquid electrolyte formed by an electrolyte dissolved in a non-aqueous solvent. A vinylene carbonate is used as a high-permittivity solvent of the non-aqueous solvent. It is preferable that the nonaqueous solvent contains the vinylene carbonate at a rate of not less than 20 vol.% and not higher than 60 vol.% and the remaining is a cyclic ester. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
