<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal, piezoelectric, electrolytic or acoustic inkjet recording ink which is equipped with handleability, odor and safety, is excellent in dispersion stability and shelf stability of a dispersed substance, is excellent in discharge stability, shows no paper dependence, is excellent in color development and color tone (hue), is excellent in ink permeation especially when using a photographic quality paper, is excellent in water resistance, especially image permanence (especially light fastness and ozone resistance) and resistance to scuffing after recording and enables high-density high-quality recording, and an inkjet recording method using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition excellent in permeation etc. is prepared by dispersing a particulate containing an oil-soluble dyestuff having an oxidation potential nobler than 1.0 V (vs SCE) and a dispersible polymer in an aqueous medium using a nonionic surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
