<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which waste toner can efficiently be conveyed to the empty space of each of toner supply containers and which is therefore made small-sized and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of photoreceptors; a developing means which is provided for each of the photoreceptors and forms toner images by developing latent images formed on the corresponding photoreceptors, with a developer; an intermediate transfer member on which the toner images formed on each of the photoreceptors are transferred, wherein the image forming apparatus is provided with: a plurality of waste toner storage sections, each of which stores waste toner removed from at least the photoreceptor or the intermediate transfer body or waste developer discharged from the developing means: and a waste toner conveying means which connects the waste toner storage parts in series and conveys the waste toner or waste developer to the waste toner storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
