<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer management method and device for deciding a printer whose registration is canceled according to various conditions such as the use conditions of a printer, and for preventing an unnecessary printer from being registered in an information processor as it is, and to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: A printer monitoring part 13 acquires the number of printer drivers 20 being the number of printers registered in an information processor 1, and when the acquired number of registration is not less than a value preset in an erasure condition setting part 12, a use frequency discrimination part 14 selects a printer whose use frequency is the lowest, and a registration cancellation processing part 15 cancels the registration of the selected printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
