PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin foamed product having high flame retardancy, by keeping an amount of a halogen-based flame retarder to be added at a level of an amount conventionally added. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin foamed product is produced by extruding and foaming a thermoplastic resin, wherein the foamed product contains the halogen-based flame retardant and a flame retardant auxiliary which contains a compound having a skeletal structure expressed by general formula (I) (R is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring).
